The Center for Music Therapy in End of Life Care
~ is dedicated to providing
participants with a dynamic educational experience that will prepare them to serve people with advanced illnesses and their
families through the continuum of end-of-life and bereavement,
~ seeks to further the breadth and depth of research
evaluating the effects of music therapy in end-of-life and bereavement care and disseminate research findings to healthcare
providers and the community at large, and
~ advocates for the expansion of music therapy services to further increase
access to needed services by patients and families.
