Advanced Practice in Hospice MT Institute

~October 16-17, 2010 at Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care,
Holy Cross Hospital, Chicago, IL

This course offers a deeper and broader knowledge for the hospice music therapist seeking advanced skills.  Areas covered will incorporate clinical supervision, using the group to process challenging or diffcult cases.  Business aspects will be reviewed, considering program expansion, funding opportunities, role play scenarios with CEOs, etc.  Advanced clinicals in specific areas such as pediatric care, family conflict, unresolved pain, and acute suicidality will be reviewed.  Participants earn 20 CMTEs.

Schedule:
Saturday, Oct. 16th: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
*includes two 15 minute breaks and a working lunch
Sunday, Oct. 17th: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
*includes two 15 minute breaks and a working lunch

Registration fee is $250, which includes materials.
